In the case of the netbooks- you need an external drive or there should be a way to load the program to a USB flash drive, but then it needs to be bootable if you want to use it to restore ( most Geek Squad branded flash drives come with a bootable program) or you can at least DL it to the flash drive - plug it in to another computer and create the ISO that way..
